Hey, I'm Cass - a hat-lovin', art-chasin', outback-livin', laidback mumma of three.

What started as a creative spark has grown into Sol Spirits - a brand born from my love of art, fashion, stillness, nature + the wide open spaces of western NSW.
I've always loved fashion - especially the kind that feels wild, worn-in + unapologetically you!
Hats to me are way more then just a hat, they're a statement, a story, a crown for everyday people doing beautiful things.

Each hat is thoughtfully designed in my outback studio in Warren, where I burn each detail by hand.
Each hat is made from 100% pure Australian wool felt, these hats are crafted with soul, inspired by dirt roads, sun drenched days + a deep love for standing out.

Self - taught + heart-led, this journey is one of grit, growth + storytelling - one hat at a time.

This isn't just about hats, it's about spirit.

Sol (n.) - Latin word for sun, sunlight, sunshine
Spirit - The soul, the unseen part of us where emotion, fire + character live.
To me, every person carries a little sun in their soul. That's what Sol Spirits is all about - letting that inner light shine through something real, something with intention, something truly yours.

Founded by artist + self-taught pyrographer Cass Lewis, Sol Spirits was born out of the dust + big skies of Warren, NSW.
​Each hat is lovingly designed + burned by hand in my little studio - where the scent of sage + music fill the air, where every detail is made with pure intention.
Your hats are hand shaped, decorated + burned to tell a story - your story.
From hand-sourced fabrics + wild Australian feathers to genuine crystals gifted by Mother Nature herself, every element is chosen to reflect your own spirit + soul.
The artwork begins on paper, then is carefully burned into your hat using a professional pyrography machine - one stroke at a time. Every burn mark is made with heart. Every detail is unique.
Finished with a protective spray, then cleansed with Sacred White Sage then set with intentions of love, joy + positivity - your hat is more than a hat. It's a piece of you. A keepsake. A talisman. A story to wear + pass down for generations to come.
Because Sol Spirits isn't about following trends - it's about standing out, feeling grounded + wearing something that speaks for you when words can't.
